Dialectics of Power Relations

First, clothes off, wigs on, transforming into a mere representation, then duplicating it.
This, duplicated representation is of a certain kind of woman, the subject of desire, ridicule and fetishization. Our historic role in the field of art is being positioned as an object, having someone else dictate and eternalize our expression, physicality, faults and virtues. Being objectified and moreover self objectified is in our tradition, our history, therefore, our nature.

Shown in a Helmut Newton photograph is a man, fully dressed, wearing a big long coat. He hugs a woman sitting on his lap, naked, no face shown. We reenacted and dismantled this photograph, and in that
reenactment we are that woman, holding herself naked and capturing it.
